Athirasa Kawum Recipe (Srilankan sweet flat bread recipe)

Athirasa Kawum is a  Sri Lankan sweet flat bread made with a combination of flour, rice flour, sugar, coconut oil, . To make athirasa you have to make a stiff paste using these ingredients. And make small ball that is flattened into circles, then deep-fried in hot oil.

Finally When you store kawum place a dish or a small cup at the bottom of you container as Athirasa has more oil than other kawum. If you just store them the kawum which are in the bottom of the container will absorb more oil.
