This recipe is very popular at celebration time and one of my favourites. As you know we are being used to make welithalapa by using rice in traditional way. But in this Couscous Welithalapa recipe, we are showing you how to make super easy Couscous Welithalapa with quick and easy way.

INGREDIENTS
300g cup couscous
1/2 cups of treacle (honey)
200g Brown Sugar
Chopped Cardamom
1/2 cup of coconut milk
Butter

Method
Take the large bowl, add some butter and mix the couscous with 2 cups of boiling water.
Close the bowl and keep for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes fluff up with a spoon and make sure couscous is cooked.
Now it's time to make honey mixture.
Add the treacle and brown sugar into a hot pan and boil.
When sugar starts boil, add the coconut milk.
Put the crushed cardamom and mix.
While boiling the mixture add the couscous.
Stir well with low heat and make a thick mixture.
Layout the mixture using flat surface (spread some butter on surface before layout)
Let it cool down and cut them into squares.
You are done. Enjoy with your friends or with your lovely family...

METHOD

After 10 minutes fluff up with a spoon and make sure couscous is cooked.
Now its time to Make a Honey mix.
Add the treacle and brown sugar into a hot pan and Boil.
When the sugar starts to boil, add the Coconut milk.
Put the crushed Cardamom and mix well.
While boiling all the mix add couscous.
Stair well with low heat and make a thick mixture.
Now remove from the heat.
Lay out the mixture using a flat surface (spread some butter).
Let it cool down and cut them in to squares.
